Reset on the Weekend: Clean Bathroom, Self Care, & Being Productive

Resets should not be completely on Sunday. A weekend reset relieves the Sunday pressures. There are weeks where you don’t have time to spread it out so you end up spending your entire Sunday doing all the things, I am doing that ALL the time.

But, if you have a case of the Sunday Scaries every week and need more time (or have more time I should say) to properly prepare yourself, this is the place I will be blogging weekend resets. Some will be chaotic, some will be productive, and some will be absolutely relaxing. The perfect weekend is a combination and I am here to share all things weekend/sometimes only Sunday resets!

Friday
Exhausted. That is the only word to use for this work week. Worked late multiple nights, had a doctors appointment, and simply had a chaotic corporate 9-5 work week (yes, I work a 9-5). Because of my job, I am usually off by 3 on Friday’s so depending on how I feel, I will get to my weekend reset.
- Started Laundry – Key word STARTED
- Deep Clean Bathroom: Toilet, Counter/Sink, Shower Scrub, Mirror & Shower Door. Wash towels and bath mat.
- Run Dishwasher….which means dishes (ugh!)
- Vacuum

Saturday
SLOW start to the morning, remember that exhausting work week? Yep, it caught up to me, I laid in bed, worked on my side hustle (AKA this blog platform), and watched Youtube.
Waffles for breakfast at 10:30 and then hit the gym.
- 45 Minute Recovery Walk on the Treadmill
- Sat Outside and Read my Current Book (The Luckiest Girl Alive)
- 2 Hour Nap in the Afternoon
Chick Fil A for Lunch and Dairy Queen for Dessert. Not the best combination for a healthy lifestyle but hey, it was DELISH!

Sunday
Clearly this was not a super productive first half, it was amazing though to have deep cleaned the bathroom Friday so I did not have to worry today.
- Finished my Book! (3/5 – Luckiest Girl Alive)
- Make the bed…..yes girl, make your bed on weekends!
- Remember that laundry I started…….it was time to actually fold and put that away.
- Grocery Run. This also includes building out some kind of meal plan (lunch and dinner) for the week.
- NAIL APPOINTMENT – Girls, if you know you know, it may not be super relaxing BUT they look so good and your confidence is way higher after.
- Dunkin Afternoon Pick me Up: I am ON that Cookie Cold Brew Drink
- 45 Minute Peloton Spin Class
We got groceries from Publix so Pub Subs for dinner to make it easy, a wash my hair type shower, movie, read, and bed!!
