The Perfect Bridesmaid Proposal Box

The Bridesmaid Proposal Box is the beginning to the bridal party! I knew years before I was engaged who was going to be in my bridal party because those girls have been through it all. You want them to feel just as special as you during wedding season because they deserve it.

Bridesmaid Proposals are also another expense in the wedding budget, especially when you have a large bridal party (I had 6 bridesmaids and 2 Maids of Honor). This bridesmaid proposal box is affordable and will not break the bank. The presentation of the bridesmaid proposal box is how to make it look expensive. You will see below that this entire box was under $40 and it included an outfit for the wedding morning!

Perfect Bridesmaid Proposal Box

I did not want “Bridesmaid” written all over my girls. If the clothes or accessories say “bridesmaid”, wearing it again is unlikely, therefore it is a waste of money for you and wasted closet space for them.

This bridesmaid proposal included a morning outfit, accessory, and a card to detail why she was so important to me and I could not getting married without her by my side.

The Box

I actually got the cute boxes from Dollar Tree. Yes, Dollar Tree!! They were in the gift bag section so it was perfect. The boxes were the perfect size and could fit everything I needed.

I found a super similar one and price ranges on Amazon!

The only concern was there were not enough identical boxes for 8, so I did 6 for the bridesmaids with the same box and 2 different pattern boxes for the Maids of Honor. If you are not asking everyone at the same time, they don’t all need to match anyways. I am just a Type A bride so I of course wanted all of them to match.

Box Filling

The paper filling came from Dollar Tree as well, the stuff is so cheap and perfect for something that will be thrown away anyways. If these did not have the paper filling, I would have grabbed tissue paper (that probably would be less of a mess) to use instead.

Like I said, I am a Type A Match Bride, so I wanted all the same color and to reflect our wedding color/theme. There are so many different colors to mix and match for the decor aspect of the box.

Robe

Robes were the perfect gift to give for my bridesmaid proposals. They now had something to wear the morning of the wedding and they would all coordinate!

These silk robes came from Amazon and photographed SO well! The girls loved them. There were so many colors to chose from so I went with this champaygne color.

Sunglasses

This was my favorite part of the bridesmaid proposal box. I was so excited to give them a unique look and make it a little fun.

(They have “bride tribe” on them which I did not like, but you cannot even see it. I did not think twice.)

I found a Pinterest inspiration picture of girls all matching with sunglasses on and I had to steal it. I found these on Amazon as well as a pack, and it came with a white pair for bride!

Tip: When looking for anything for your wedding, look for packs of your bridal party count. If they don’t have the exact count, just get the extra…..someone will lose their sunglasses or accessories.

The sunglasses were a hit for the Bachelorette, morning of the wedding, party, and the reception. The girls styled them the whole day and it was so fun!

Bridesmaid Proposal Card

Of course you need a card in the bridesmaid proposal box. I took my time writing the card because you only get so many opportunities to share how important your friends/family are to you.

Guess where I got these……Amazon. They had gold and black which were wedding colors so they were perfect. The pack had bridesmaid and Maid of Honor so no need to buy multiple different cards for different ladies.

Only 5 Things to build the perfect bridesmaid proposal box!

Your girls are going to LOVE being asked to be a bridesmaid and LOVE even more when they receive a gift they will actually like wearing!

Happy Wedding Season,

Your Girl Grace <3
