Girls Trip to Nashville, Tennessee

My 21st summer birthday trip to Nashville, Tennessee…GIRLS ONLY!

If you are looking for an over the top, fun, birthday or bachelorette, or just a good old girls weekend…..Nashville, Tennessee is your spot! It is my absolute favorite city to visit for the weekend. A misconception to most is the music, if you do not like country music (what is wrong with you?? Jk I will still accept you as a friend), there are pop/rap and other genres played in the Honky Tonk bars.

We booked our trip through Expedia (who would have guessed), including only flights this time because we wanted an Airbnb that could fit all 7 of us girls. Living room hangs, if you know you know.

Best Nashville, Tennessee AirBnb!

They were amazing hosts and the location is PERFECT!

TIP for Booking a Place to Stay: Depending on the size of the group obviously depends on arrangements. You want to be as close to Broadway as possible (as in walking distance). If you have a group of 7 or smaller, it is definitely possible to find a good Airbnb! Ubers are a pain at night when you are trying to leave and it is just another cost.

DAY 1

Upon arrival to Nashville, we Ubered straight to the Pinewood Social! We had a lot of time to kill before our late afternoon check in so we went here because they could hold our luggage. Super fun spot: we bowled, had lunch, and cocktails.

After checking in and having a late afternoon rest time, we got ready to hit the town! We hopped from Tootsies, Luke Bryan, and Miranda Lambert the first night! It can be so overwhelming on your first night, there are so many places and you don’t want to pick the wrong one!

TIP: Do not get a drink at the bar unless you heard 2-3 songs you like. Getting a drink can take a long time so you don’t want to waste it if you cannot stay. Nashville does not allow open container so if you leave, you would have to throw it out.

TIP: 10:15 is around the time of band change, keep that in mind as you leave or stay. Take this time to walk around the area and decide where you want to go or take a longer walk to a different bar.

DAY 2

Brunch at Stateside Kitchen in Downtown Nashville, right off Broadway! Highly recommend for a girls group! Lots of photo spots, the vibes were awesome, drinks were good, and food was yum! Order the Monkey Bread! Such a girly spot with a DJ! (The Twelve Thirty Club is another great brunch spot! I liked this one better because there is a live band and rooftop upstairs, and location in Downtown Nashville on Broadway).

Sunrise Tequila

We walked into the shops on Broadway and browsed around after brunch.

TIP: All bars open for sure by 11am so after a brunch, music is on. Bars are serving and playing music sun up to sun down so even if you are not ready to get the drinking party going, try out day time bars for live music and some appetizers. It is never as busy on Broadway at this time so great opportunity to scout out evening plans.

We landed at Kid Rock (awesome view of Downtown Nashville and the Broadway Strip!) to listen to some listen and have a cocktail before heading back to the airbnb for an afternoon nap in preparation for the evening activities.

Sprocket Rocket Party Bike! You will not regret doing the pedal bike in Nashville, Tennessee. Being passed drinks while riding around to loud music, cannot get better! You have to bring your own canned drinks but they have coolers for the ride!

We ordered local pizza to the Airbnb after the party bike, did an outfit change, and headed back out to Broadway! We decided to go to Dierks Bentley and then to Florida Georgia Line that evening!

DAY 3

The White Limozeen. We had to stop because of Dolly! 5-10 minute Uber from Downtown Nashville. The cutest lobby that is open to the public. An entire couch display pictured below! If you plan on eating, make a reservation. The rooftop was an awesome view of Downtown Nashville and was super cute!

The Gulch. This is a quick Uber from Downtown Nashville and is such a cute place to walk around and shop. We grabbed lunch at The Pub, you have to get the hot chicken sliders!

Final day so we were pretty tired, but we ended up going back to the Airbnb after our lunch.

Dinner we went back to the Gulch and had Mexican food at Nada! Margs, chips, salsa is my love language!

On the way home we walked around Printers Alley that was all lit up. Printers Alley is behind Broadway but still in Downtown Nashville. The Alley has multiple restaurants/bars that are playing live music. It is a more low key spot.

That was it for day 3, we were too tired for another Broadway night! We had a flight out in the morning back home.

This post was one of my all time favorite to write. Nashville, Tennessee is already in the plans for future trips!

Happy Traveling!
