Everyone thinks that a fancy dinner is the best way to spend both their time and money with their significant other. Wrong!! After dating or being married for multiple years, it is a way better investment to do an activity or event that you both would enjoy.
These date night ideas are also perfect for couples that just started dating. Events or activities leave less time for talking so there are no awkward moments 😉
I am partially bias to this list because my husband has mastered an at home steak dinner so we 10000% prefer to try a new couples class or buy tickets to a local sporting event for date night.
There are so many local events that you would not even think exist. Your local large cities are guaranteed to have a plethora of options. A day date or night out on the town gives you more time to enjoy each other’s company.

Although a nice (expensive) steak dinner is an easy choice, you will not be disappointed when you invest your money in something you will build a memory from for many years to come!

Sporting Event
As my husband would tell me, sports is never ending and there is never an off season. Fall to spring has hockey, football, and basketball. Spring to summer has more basketball and baseball.
The best part about a sporting event is wearing a fun outfit and getting a hotdog.
Even if you get cheap tickets or are not a huge sports fan, the music, halftime shows, and other events during the game keep it entertaining!
Couples Massage
This one is on our list to try together. Maybe you have had a massage but you have not had one together.
There are also couples massages where they teach you how to massage your partner. This would amazing to repeat at home!
Pair this with a quick dinner or dessert and have best date night evening.

Movie and dinner all in one! How can you get better than that?
This is an easy option because you don’t have to think about dinner or plan too much into the date. All you have to do is book the movie date.
There have been so many new movies released over the past couple of years to get people back into the theater, this is the perfect opportunity to make it into a date night.
Cooking Class
Food, wine, and fun! Sign me up!
Check your local supermarkets or restaurants for cooking classes in your area. The classes usually include drinks, aprons, the full dinner you will be making, and normally to go wine or food.
You will leave with a new recipe and a full belly, can’t get any better!

This is one of the best options that is so easy to plan and very affordable. No reservations, no fancy clothes, just you and your partner enjoying each others company.

Comedy Show
Nothing beats dinner and a show! Whether you are seeing someone famous or someone just getting into the comedy industry, they are hilarious and so much fun to go and watch.
