As a recently married woman, we went through the millions of items on sites to add to our wedding registry. After settling into our apartment, we found out what was really needed.

To make it 10x easier for you to build your registry, below are the exact items that you actually use after getting married.

Everyone will be asking what they can buy for you for your big day! Don’t skip a wedding registry because it is too old school. This is the opportunity to receive gifts that are worth far more than anything you would 1. buy for yourself or 2. have ever received.

5 Quick Wedding Registry Tips:

1. Put the expensive items on the registry. This is the one chance in your life that you will be gifted this much stuff! Register for the expensive Pottery Barn dishes, do not settle for the cheap ones!
2. Put items you WANT on your registry. If you want the fancy blender because you LOVE smoothies, put it on there! If you want the big charcuterie board, put it on there! This is YOUR registry!
3. Only 1-3 registry sites, one being Amazon. You need to put Amazon because everyone uses it and people buy things last minute for wedding showers. Amazon is the only webiste with quick shipping. You should also do another store that does a variety of products: Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond are great choices!
4. Remember where you are living. You don’t want to be stuck with big ticket items that you cannot fit anywhere. Only register for what your future living space needs. 
5. You can never registry for enough silverware sets, towel sets, plate or bowl sets, all the sets. You go through kitchen items very quickly and doing dishes is never fun. Registry for enough sets to host 4-6 people at least.
